Time to break out the Christmas decorations again, so whilst I was at it I thought I'd take a couple of pictures of my models. TB1 in an appropriate setting and I thought the fake snow also doubled nicely as a cloud level for TB2.

I've just acquired an original Zeroid perch from the Gerry Anderson series Terrahawks, (it looks to be the port one from Treehawk). Here it is with my replica Zeroid perched on it. I'm very pleased with it.

Polyphase Avatron was always a serious critic of literature, though some believe he only reads Parrot fashion.

Nice to see Douglas Adams instead of David Agnew.

Having watched the recent reruns of Land of the Giants, I fancied a model of the ship (a better vehicle than the show is!). I bought the Polar Lights kit and built it as is, except for adding some internal lighting.

I've just finished a scratchbuild of the ship from the first two 'Apes' films. (I know the third film and TV version was slightly different to this one). It is about 30cm long and made from plasticard and milliput. The landing leg is partly for display and partly because I thought that, just for once, it would be nice to see it landed rather than crashed!

Just made this neat little kit from Pegasus Hobbies of the lovely manta ray style War Machine from the 1950's War of the Worlds.

Picked this up at the weekend (at an antiques fair oddly enough!). I feel a project coming on.

A bit of progress. I have removed all the labels and given it a good clean. I cut the headlamps off and patched the holes as best I could (this plastic doesn't really play the game). The control levers are made from pieces of the towing bracket that it had, the rear seat pad from balsa and plasticard. I used bits from my spares box to make the mirrors. Getting there.

I've done the panels now. However, progress will slow a lot now as I'm waiting for parts. I want to make the headlights work and, of course, I need another set of wheels.
Anyway, Sindy has said that she has no interest in driving off-world vehicles, so I have drafted in this rugged looking fellow.
