Very good , some excellent , some bad , too many sentimental scenes but overall excellent - nothing beats THE GIRL IN THE FIREPLACE for sheer greatness and storyline! |

I think it's been veyr good. Quite a few friends and family members who deny being into sci-fi have said they watch it most weeks. That's the real proof of its success in my opinion |

Hey I've always been in to Sci-Fi to avoid soaps etc. I don't want to come across it in Dr Who |

I thought that it was average. There was only two episodes that I felt compelled to go back and rewatch. But to be honest, that was more than the previous series.
I'm guessing that the soap and sentimentality is going to stay as the audience is there for it. And face it, the folk that moan and gripe about it are watching it anyway, just so they can find something to complain about, so the Beeb still get an audience
All I ask of them is to try to get some different scenery. Cardiff posing as London every week is dull dull dull. Get the Doctor out there somewhere, get him meeting aliens on other worlds - or did he blow them up too ? _________________ Louise and Simon's Blakes7 Fan Site

And that stopped them in the past ?
lol I wouldn't like to imagine what B7 would have been like if they went to Cardiff every week to blow up the Federation's leek exhibition. _________________ Louise and Simon's Blakes7 Fan Site

In the past they managed to film in locations such as Paris, Amsterdam, Lanzarote and Seville when they were on a shoestring budget, so sure now with the megabucks they have at their disposal they can afford some more exotic locations. St. Petersburg would I'm sure make a nice location, as would Venice, Cairo... |

Apparently they're filming in Cardiff today for 'Runaway Bride' - wouldn't fancy being David Tennant today in suit, tie and coat pretending it's cold _________________ Regret is part of being alive - but make it a small part. |
