Ditto
I thought the series was good - better than the first series.
And just how much does it cost to hire a quarry for a couple of days then? _________________

And then film in the dark and put a lid on it (i.e. Satan's Pit)
Loved the second series even more than the first - but then I really like David Tennant as an actor. _________________ Regret is part of being alive - but make it a small part. |

I thought the best ep. was 'School Reunion', and the worst, no more than worst, was 'Love and Monsters'. I mean, REALLY!!!! _________________ "You're like a May morning......"

After watching New Earth, i felt I had been kicked in the teeth by a pointed boot as I couldn't believe this awful mish mash of emotions tacked on one after the other with little resemblance of good story telling and that set the mood for me this year DESPITE having let Season 1 simply take me along with it.
But the series got better and better but Mr. Tennant got squeakier and squeakier although very good in the quieter bits, and I found him difficult to warm to, for the first time since McCoy!
But on the whole, I still enjoyed the other eleven and a half episodes - the other half being the Abzormamoff bits of Love and Monsters, the first half or two thirds was great. Again, Mr Davies tried to tag on a bit of heart wrenching reality (the main character's memories of his mother) after a lot of utter ghastliness! It just didn't mesh.
But cor! (the third cor to begin a paragraph), I was as swept up with the last two episodes as I was with last year's close. Lovely. I mean, flying Daleks, Cybermen kicking in doors and Jackie jiggling at last. Sigh. And Tennant finally won me over!
PS: I voted Very Good. _________________ The Grinding Oppresion of the Masses is the Answer! |

Fairly average is my assessment of Series Two. Series One was so much better. Girl in the Fireplace was boring tosh! Love and Monsters was unwatchable drivel.
The only decent episodes were ones with Daleks, Cybermen or Satan in. Hardly radical new concepts for Dr Who! |
