I don't see why that wouldn't happen.
Couldn't be any worse than being currently goved by a "SCOTTISH" PM (especially when they now have their own Parliament BUT have most of the TOP ost in the UK Cabinet.) Guess they are getting their own back for all the time we defeated them in battle in past centuries.

No - she`s just a figurehead, elected Parliament runs the Country and it has been that way since the English civil war of the 17th Century.

Her role is basically to generate tourist revenue as far as I can tell, and the occasional goodwill trip to various countries.
