It is so stunningly hot outside (I'm not a fan of heat), I thought I just had to do some desert photos of a couple of my models.

Thank you. Yep, my old garden table can always be relied on to simulate water with its glass top. |

Just for a bit of light relief, I picked up a couple of cheap Tamiya dinosaur kits. They go together quickly and you can paint them however you like.

I've just finished building the Polar Lights large Enterprise kit. I like the result but found it quite hard to make as it is rather large. I put a lighting kit into it too.

Most annoyingly, the image hosting site that I use will no longer cooperate. This could be the end of this thread. |

Would be a great shame to all on here to lose your "workbench" thread _________________ Wisdom must be gathered, it can not be given

Photobucket, who have announced (very quietly), that their previously free service will now be subject to an annual cost (which I suppose is fair enough) of around 300 quid (which is not!). That isn't going to happen so my images (and literally millions of others) vanish from the web.
Imageshack went to fee paying a few years ago. So, since I don't wish to pay, it looks like I can't post images on this forum anymore.
It was good while it lasted. |

Bloody hell
There must be other free image hosting sites, especially if photobucket is going for a paying-members-only setup - the free sites will be looking to get a few new users!
But that would still mean you'd have to re-upload all the previous pictures |

Yeah, that's right, it would be a huge job. I did think about other free sites but photobucket weren't the first to start charging (they just chose to charge massively more than others). The cycle would keep repeating. Some forums have their own system for posting images so I will probably just use those. |
