.......And not that I'd ever dream of selling up but, how much does a set of all 26 B7 videos normally go for?

Who else on here owns all the vids?

You could probably pick them up on Ebay for about £30. I haven't got the whole set, only a partial set. I'm waiting to get the DVD - I still don't trust them to have sorted out the layer change problem but I'm sure I'll get it soon.

£30? More like £60 to £80 for the set.

You can pay over £12 for some of the tapes.

I own all the original set, including the heaverly edited ones!. Resisted the urge to obtain any of the 'remastered' vids, in favour of the long,long,long awaited DVD's

Now awaiting series 2 on DVD - another extra long wait pending!

is that all? i would'nt even be tempted to sell mine for less than £300 - even though im broke as a bum. I got mine as a birthday present from my mother and she got them from some bloke on e-bay. Apparently when she went to pick them up the bloke said, 'I don't want to sell these you know, but i asked my girlfriend to marry me, and she said she would as long as i got rid of them'. < bwahahahahaha - poor bloke.

At the moment Beast, a complete set of Blakes 7 videos are selling on Ebay for 78.00. if bought now, although the bidding is up to 68.00.

I have the original series of tapes as well as the new versions.

as for the guy, he must a been a wimp to let he's girlfriend make him get rid of them. and before you ask, I am female...

I've got the edited versions but I'm still collecting the 26 videos. I'm not collecting the Fabuluos commisioned videos...yet.

Actually, I gave all of season 1 (bar Orac) to my cousin once I'd bought the DVD. I seem to remember I gave him the edited videos when the seires got a release in 1991 (actually, it was the way that the edited videos sold that prompted the release of the unedited videos). I don't see the point of hanging onto a dead format, especially the edited ones, as a collector. Just takes up valuable space, and you can only watch one episode at once anyway.

Course, if someone offered me a wadge of cash, then they could have em, but give it a few months, and you won't be able to even give away video tapes., let alone sell them.

You havn't considered he might have been selling to buy long awaited DVDs and did not wish to draw attention to the new format in case the buyer opted for them instead.
