I managed to catch some of that too. All I could think of was how nice he was when I met him last year, when he kissed my hand and then gave me a peck on the cheek after he had posed for a photo with me. _________________

Gareth is a lovely man. We met him last year and bought him a drink. We stood talking to him for a while. He always seems to be happy to meet people. _________________ Well now, you know you can trust me!!! |

"Well now," I saw episode one of this 6-part comedy drama DISTANT SHORES and, first episode had PETER sticking his hand up a cows backside (aka: All Creatures Great And Small instantly sprang to mind).
Didn't see all of last nights episode due to watching THE OTHERS Film but, as I switched to catch the rest of this drama came in as, GARETH appeared. I couldn't help thinking about GARETH remarking how he'd wanted to appear as, in a, Doctor Who story!!!
So, with PETER being an ex-Doctor Who it felt like that was happening.
Especially, as when I came in felt like the WICKER MAN Movie (so, this then reminded me of the classic - DW DAEMONS storyline)
Weird that both GARETH and, MIKE are playing Vicars!!! _________________ "Valentine" ( 'S Brother)

Just found this page which lists which actors did Jackanory.
http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/CastGuide/showid-1952/Jackanory/
Apparrently Gareth Thomas appeared on it several times. I'm sure the list of actors on this is by no means complete as I'm sure Patrick Moore appeared on it once , reading his own sci-fi stories. |

NO he didn't STEPHEN GRIEF was playing a, QC for the Defence - LORNE MICHAELS
However, also in that episode and, the following one (27th Jan) there was another, B7 guest actor playing a lawyer SIMON NORWALK - namely, DANIEL HILL (CHASGOW in the SAND episode - S4) _________________ "Valentine" ( 'S Brother)
