Its proving quite a hotly debated subject elsewhere so I thought it might be interesting to put it to the vote. This can cover both the classic and new series (i.e. it could be as much Season 6 vs Season 7 as RTD vs Hinchcliffe or whoever) _________________ Everything in life is only for now. |

I don't mind The Doctor being based on Earth, but I don't want every freakin' episode to take place there! _________________ "Blak" sheep of the B7 forum family! |

Where is the option to vote for "a nice blend of all three places"?. I would not want, ideally, to see it set anywhere either palce or time period all the time.
I see RTD's point about just using a wood or quarry and saying it was the planet XYZ. However, I think perhaps they could do this once a season, and then have studio based settings for in-door shoots. Too much of this though and it would start to be cheesy. Perhaps they could not make xmas specials and use that budget for off-world sets???? Or forget spin-off shows and use some of that budget for off-world sets??? |

BlakeNo1 took the words right out of my mouth.
The series 2 finale is on tomorrow, I have set a reminder to watch it as its Rose's last episode, I believe. |

Great point, maybe if RTD wasn't doing all these spin-off shows, there wouldn't be any budget problems. _________________ "Blak" sheep of the B7 forum family! |

Yes I agree but time and space is an important part of the package. |

Half the time it doesn't seem that futuristic. How long before Dot Cotton makes a guest appearance. |

Maybe she will be playing the RANI
Why don't we all get a email together and let RTD know what we think....
