At the end of the day politicians only think for themselves
and don't give a hoot about us anyway no matter who it is

They think about the money they can earn for themselves, the rich companies who pay them to promote their own interests and in the meantime spout b******* to the masses who are prepared to listen to their crap!

That's why people have to stay involved and engaged so that someday things will change.

I have not voted in this poll yet as I still think McCain could well take it in November the closer it gets. Obama does look weak on experience and I am getting this nagging feeling that Hilary would have been a better candidate to go up against the ageing war horse. November is Obama's to loose and so long as he has a STRONG performance in the debates v McCain and makes not serious gaffs he should be okay but there is a long way to go yet until November.

As I've said many times, if McCain wins clean in November, this country deserves to fall.

I'm still convinced that Obama is a stronger candidate than Clinton would've been. She would've been John Kerry redux. McCain would constantly go after her on her vote for the war and, since she refuses to acknowledge mistakes that she makes, he would successfully paint her into a corner on that one issue, not to mention the legions of Hillary-hating redneck men who would've broken records voting against her.

Think about it, yet another "liberal" senator from the Northeast running for president? That would've gone down like a fart in church.

The only way McCain wins in November is if Obama continues to do stupid s**t like floating GOP names for running mate, or if everyone is right and this country is still too racist to elect a non-white for president.

Hope you are right.

What about Arnold S, from CA as vice president, now that would be something to see.

I don't want someone holding high office who equates even the meager US welfare system with socialism in a negative way.

Could he even be VP? Only native born US citizens can be the Pres so if the VP did not fit that category and something happened to the Pres. the VP could not take over one would assume.

What's the deal with Mc. Cain showing the commercial with Spears &
Paris?
Shouldn't they stick with politics & more serious issues?

Saw on a comedy show that McCain cant lift his arms higher than his midriff, something to do with his capture in a POW camp and having to hold them above his head for long periods - is this true?
