It's the obvious question and will never be answered - but vote anyway! |

I voted that no one was dead and Blake was the clone because that's basically what we were told (in a round about way) by Chris Boucher at a convention way way way back when 'Blake' was first shown. He said it was written in such a way that if the show was ever brought back for another series it had at least 3 ways of going on from that final episode. |

I heard somewhere that they'd got ways of bringing everyone back, but I've never heard what they were... I hope they were good...
Just imagine if instead of residing in our memories as that terrible, awful, bleak, tragic but classic ending, it had instead been turned into a cliffhanger that was part of a "it was all just a dream" Dallas-type plot device? _________________

Well I remember countless Dr. Who episdoes were one or more of the good guys appear to die at the end of an episode then next week the accomplice of whoever shot them says: "You only stunned them, didn't you" to which the person who pulled the trigger CONFIRMS. |

All except Avon.
I could imagine Avon being taken to face trial, but escaping.
Or is it more romantic to imagine them all going out in a blaze of glory and gunfire. |

For my still unfinished/barely started (delete as applicable) epic PGP, Ijust worked out who would want to come back and who wouldn't.
Gareth wanted to be killed, so it's definitely Blake that Avon shot and Josette Simon doesn't want to be associated with the series, so I killed her off too. Who else lives or dies is revealed over the course of the series. _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |

But then if it's just a story that's being written and not a TV series, then would it matter which actors would or wouldn't want to come back. In a story you're dealing with characters not the people that played them.

Read far too many PGPs where they all survive (and 99% of those have sodding Servalan behind it). I wanted something a bit more... grim, a bit more like the series itself. Not a fan wish fulfilment. _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |

Agree. It's best as is, but I have thought that seriously wounded Vila could have crawled off, survived, and had a big epiphany because of what happened, which causes him to get himself together finally, and actually start organizing rebels himself. Long after this, he meets up with a humbled, half-crazy Avon with the wind knocked out of him, and they have a very strange reunion.
I'd like to back up in time, and see Blake and Jenna between "Aftermath" and "Blake".
The thing is, though, have we ever seen any evidence of a "stun" setting on any of the guns we see in B7? |
