Spanish version of Dr Who

I gather there's a Spanish equivalent of Dr Who, "El Ministerio del Tiempo". You can see it on their equivalent of iplayer at www.rtve.es

My colleague who told me about it said the Spanish equivalent of the BBC made it, but they couldn't afford to do another season. But Netflix has stepped in. From what she said it sounds like Hartnell era Who with half the stories historical.
