Blake makes friends with the ever-so-unlikely-named Rod.
Rod says: "Hither, Blake, and stand by me..."

Rod, Gola and Tara have all received amulets for Christmas,
but Blake doesn’t like any of them.

Rod and Gola have a fight. The king of the castle
and the dirty rascal are both mentioned.

Gola wins, but Tara’s cooking poisons him.
He knew he should have hired outside caterers this year.

Travis mugs an old man for his amulet.

We are looking for a star, says Blake.
Why, thank you, says the Fool,
but when he finds out they aren't offering a recording contract he
gives them directions to somewhere a very long way off.

Avon and Blake have a bitching session because Avon
discouraged Travis from coming over for a festive drink.

The Liberator sets off following yonder star.
